Maestro Manager Missions
Onboarding 2 Quest
Our Data Fluency Accelerator introduces practices that demystify data analysis and build a strong foundation of data fluency.
It helps participants to explore data principles on a deeper level. They try out more complex practices, which improves their data proficiency and deeply impacts their work with data.
How the Program Works
Participants receive an email 'nudge' to complete a module. A module comprises two digital coaching guides (or 'cogs') – a 'challenge' cog and a 'reflection' cog.
They start with the challenge cog. This is a chat-like digital coaching session that introduces a topic and gives them an actionable challenge activity to complete.
When they have completed the challenge, participants are invited to complete the reflection cog. In this coaching session, they reflect on what they've learned from their challenge experience and they share their insights with their team.
Activity
Participants learn and change by engaging in real-world experiences that get them to explore data principles and try out new practices right away.
Follow-Through
We help participants to follow through on the tasks they've been given with just the right level of supportive guidance and nudging. Participants complete Activation Checks to show that they're done.
Reflection
Reflecting on their experiences helps participants to build new mental models that drive their future behavior.
Social Engagement
Participants share insights based on their experiences, which creates opportunities for comments and 'likes'. Each user-generated story is also evidence of your growing culture of data fluency.
Activity
Completions indicate that participants have awareness and understanding of a topic.
Follow-Through
Positive activation checks show that participants have followed through and taken specific actions.
Reflection
Insights demonstrate that participants have reflected on their experiences in a way that reinforces the desired mindsets.
Social Engagement
'Likes' and comments tell us that a participant's insights are positively impacting others in the group and are initiating social learning.

Designated administrators will have access to our Manage tool, which is our reporting dashboard.
Manage gives administrators access to information about participants and their activities on the platform. For example, every time someone uses a cog (short for 'coaching guide', which is what we call a learning module at Cognician), the system logs their actions so that administrators can view the participant's journey, see how many cogs have been completed, and identify where they might be struggling.
Administrators can monitor general participant progress and export CSV documents that contain cog completion data and can also view the insights that participants have shared.
